Kupuna and Opio Aha (9:00 - 5:30 pm) - The Aha is dedicated to the Kupuna and Opio of our community engaging generations of knowledge, wisdom, energy and hope that serves as one of our best touchstones in Setting the Pace and Charting Our Course.

CNHA Policy Roundtable (10:45 - 12:15 pm & 2:00 - 5:45 pm) - This Roundtable will review Policy Priorities and Set the Agenda for the 2006-2007year.  The CNHA Policy Center and its Steering Committee will present policy issues currently underway, including federal recognition, reauthorization of Native Hawaiian programs, and protecting Small Business programming.  Click here to download an event registration form.

~ Hawaiian GRAMMY® Awards Banquet (6:30 - 9:30 pm) - The Hawaiian community celebrates the Best Hawaiian Music Album Category at the GRAMMY® Awards and honors each of the 2006 GRAMMY® nominees - Kapono Beamer, Raiatea Helm, Ledward Ka'apana, Sonny Lim, and Daniel Ho.  Keynote messages by Charles Brotman, 2005 GRAMMY® Award Winner, and Danny Akaka, Jr.  Click here to download your event registration form.

~ Bishop Museum Aloha Na Alii Exhibit & Banquet (5:30 - 8:30 pm) - The Banquet will honor the life of Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole.   The evening begin with a rare exhibit of artifacts and a storytelling session by the Bishop Museum.  Keynote messages by Charles Rose and Tony Sang.  Click here to download an event registration form.

~ 2006 Vote Luncheon: Sleeping Giant or Voting Block? (11:45 am - 1:30 pm) - Hawaiians represent 17% of the eligible voters in the state of Hawaii.  This luncheon will feature community groups active in Voter Registration and prominent national leaders of Native American and Pacific Islander Voter Education Campaigns.  Click here to download an event registration form.
~ Forum on Foundations  (1:45 - 4:30 pm)
~ Rock the Hawaiian Vote Concert (6:00 - 8:30 pm) - Join Makana and the Barefoot Natives, Eric Gilliom and Willie K, for an exciting concert that will celebrate Native cultures and dance.  All proceeds will be dedicated to the Hawaiian Way Fund and the 2006 Native Votes Count Campaign.  Tickets are are available for $15 each at Hungry Ear in Kailua, Jelly's in Aiea, UH Campus Center, at the Convention Registration desk or by contacting CNHA at  events@hawaiiancouncil.org.
