CNHA Staff
CNHA has assembled a team of energetic and
highly qualified Hawaiians with diverse backgrounds, and expertise in
Native law, public policy, finance, homeownership education resource
management, grant training and event coordination to the work of the
organization.
These employees come to CNHA from diverse
backgrounds and interests, all sharing a common desire to serve the
Hawaiian community. CNHA encourages the expression of individual
talent and passion in the collective forward motion of the
organization’s mission.
Beyond full time staff members, CNHA
maintains a robust and energetic team of consultants, interns, and
fellows, each contributing to the overall mission and service to
communities. |

Robin is Hawaiian and a homesteader from Anahola. She has extensive
management experience in the nonprofit, for-profit business and
government sectors including 13 years as Vice President of the National
Bank of Alaska; 3 years as head of an Alaskan Housing Authority that
served eight federally-recognized tribal governments; and 3 years as
the Director of Housing for one of the largest municipal governments in
Alaska. |

Napali is Hawaiian, a graduate of the
University of Notre Dame where he earned a Bachelor of Business
Administration with a concentration in Accountancy. With both financial
and operational management experience in the public accounting,
manufacturing, retail, and service industries as well as the
not-for-profit sector, Napali oversees the development and delivery of
all of the organization’s programs. |

Jade is Hawaiian, a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and a homesteader.
She attended Arizona State University where she majored in Political
Science and English. Jade has an extensive background in policy issues,
as well as tribal courts and government services, social and economic
development in Native communities, graphic design, database development
and is an expert facilitator and grant writer. |

Lilia is a Hawaiian and a homesteader from Kamuela, where she graduated
from Hawai'i Preparatory Academy. She has ten years of
experience working in the Native Hawaiian community on many initiatives
that support social and economic development initiatives. She is
responsible for curriculum development, facilitating grant training
workshops and public policy initiatives aimed to build the capacity of
Native service agencies or organizations throughout the Pacific. |

Farah Cabrera, Communications Specialist
Farah is a graduate of the University of Hawaii where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She has a strong background in fundraising from the University of Hawaii Foundation where she raised funds for various colleges of the University. After graduating, Farah pursued a Marketing Associate position where she enhanced her skills in marketing, sales, management & event planning. |

Blossom Feiteira, Community Development Specialist
Blossom is a Hawaiian and lives on the island of Maui. She has over 20 years of experience in community development with an emphasis on affordable housing and economic development for low income families with a specific focus in the Native Hawaiian community. She has developed and implemented a pre-purchase homebuyer education and training program designed to meet the needs of the Native Hawaiian Community and has established and opened Hawaiian Community Assets’ mortgage brokerage arm, Hawaii Community Lending. She has extensive knowledge of City, State and Federal Grant programs and has implemented curriculum for various Counties with the state of Hawaii. Blossom founded a number of nonprofit organizations such as Ka Ohana O Kahikinui, Hui No Ke Ola Pono and Na Poe Kokua representing issues relating to community planning, healthcare, and homeownership. She currently is the President for Hui Kakoo Aina Hoopulapula, as an advocate on behalf of Native Hawaiian beneficiaries of the Hawaiian Home Lands Trust. |

Rosalee
is Hawaiian and a homesteader from Waimanalo. She has two Bachelor of
Arts degrees in Ethnic Studies and Hawaiian Studies from the University
of Hawaii. She has over 10 years of experience in education and
counseling work and works with various organizations to provide
critical services and build capacity within the Native Hawaiian
community. She continues to actively engage and assist in a number of
training and technical assistance contracts that include local, state
and federal clients as part of CNHA's Training & Consultant Center. |

Annie is Hawaiian and a homesteader who is President of her Kewalo
Hawaiian Homes Association on Oahu. She has 13 years in community
organizing experience and working in human service programs that
improve the condition of local communities. Annie provides support to
CNHA community development programs engaging in training and technical
assistance. |

Vickie is Igorot from the Ibaloi tribe, one of the indigenous peoples of the Philippines. Vickie brings a decade of experience to CNHA with working with various for profit and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining CNHA she worked for California Entertainment Group that worked in conjunction with the NFL, NBA, NLB, NHL, and PGA to raise funds for non-profit organizations. She is a graduate of Kaimuki High School and attended the University of California at Berkeley. |

Melissa is Hawaiian and a graduate of McKinley High School. She is
currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of
Phoenix in Business Administration / Accounting. Melissa brings to CNHA
over 15 years of accounting experience and provides a vital link to the
community as an active member of the Kapolei Hawaiian Civic Club.
Melissa is responsible for all daily accounting functions of CNHA and
will assist in the implementation and management of CNHA’s
two
new financial capacity-building programs. |
